Project
consisted of the construction of a new 26,000sf
'high-bay' library storage facility at the University
of Toronto's Downsview Campus to store some 2.5
million books. Project highlights included provision
of new distribution and office areas as well as
the requirement for a 'super-flat' floor essential
to accommodate the installation of specialized
racking systems in the 36ft high storage areas.
Other provisions included a specialized HVAC system
to maintain specified temperature and humidity
control. |
