Renovations to the existing Forensic Identification Unit at the OPP General Headquarters in Orillia involved the demolition of approximately 16,000 sf of existing areas to make way for new biolab/case rooms, blood stain analyst labs, gown up and gown down areas, ante rooms, mud room, short and long term exhibit storage areas, video reconstruction areas, as well as general office and locker areas.
