Additions and renovations to the existing Thorncliffe Library, Childcare and Jenner Jean-Marie Community Centre included the demolition of existing areas to make way for a total renovated area of approximately 36,000 sf.  Facility upgrades included a new day-care wing, new gymnasium, renovated community centre, and renovated library.  Project had to be phased to allow ongoing operations of the existing day-care facilities.  New day-care facilities included sleeping rooms, pre-school areas, and infant areas.  The renovated community centre facility and library boasts a new state of the art gymnasium with fixed seating, exterior playgrounds and basketball court, multi-purpose rooms, student lounges, workrooms, library adult and kid stop areas along with other program areas.
